Less than the hours you're already losing.
Three plans, all month to month, the same wherever you're based. The rate you see is what an hour of assistant time costs — it is not the price of a product.
The more hours you commit, the lower the rate.
Nothing clever behind it. A predictable block of hours is easier for us to staff, so it costs less per hour. Here is exactly how much less.
Bar length is the hourly rate to scale · any local taxes are added on the invoice

The ones people ask before signing.
What does "$9 an hour" actually mean?
It's the effective rate for assistant hours on the Maximise plan — $1,170 a month for 30 hours a week. Thirty hours a week is about 130 hours in an average month, and $1,170 divided by 130 is exactly $9. Take the full 40 hours a week and it's $1,560 a month, at the same $9. It's the price of someone's time at the highest commitment level, not the price of a product, and it isn't available at five hours a week.
How am I billed, and when?
Monthly in advance, by invoice, and we bill clients in any country. Prices are shown before tax — any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are is added on the invoice. There is no setup fee and no exit fee.
What happens to hours I don't use?
A portion of unused hours can roll into the following month — we'll confirm the exact amount in writing before you start, and it will match your agreement. A quiet fortnight or a school holiday shouldn't cost you the hours you paid for.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, in either direction, with reasonable notice. Most people move up rather than down once the first few tasks have left their list — but plenty of clients sit on Kickstarter permanently, and that's a perfectly good outcome.
Is there a minimum term?
No lock-in on any plan. Kickstarter runs as a fixed initial term so there's time to get the procedures written — after that it's month to month like the others.
What if I need more than 40 hours a week?
Then you're looking at more than one assistant, and the rate is quoted rather than listed. Bring it up on the diagnostic call and we'll price it properly instead of guessing on a web page.
